    Description

    This Vintage Stanley Double Arm Marking Gauge features Traut’s Patent Oct 22, 1872 on both arms. I do not see Stanley stamped anywhere on the tool. I believe that the Traut’s patent indicates that this is a Stanley. The lack of a Stanley stamp may indicate the age of the Gauge. The gauge has been lightly cleaned and waxed. The screws are in good shape and tighten well in the head. The arms are marked with a rule up to 6 inches. One of the arms has a slight bend to it.
