Hi,
here is a Stanley Number 98 Marking & Mortise Gauge with the sweetheart stamp on one of  the thumb turns.
Most of the nickel plating is intact. All in all, the gauge is in good, decent working condition.
They were made from 1907 thru 1958, and this particular one was made in the 1920's or 30's.
Its uses are to scribe lines or layout marks on boards.
The tool has the typical scratches, little dings, and slight discoloration.
