Autograph book containing the signatures of Pink Floyd Syd Barrett, The Who, The Yardbirds, The Animals and so many more. This autograph book
contains an awesome time capsule in British Pop Music from the legendary concerts that occurred at the legendary Bath P
avilion in the 1960’s.....This is a spectacular find!
One of the many highlights of this book is the Pink Floyd autographs. Pink Floyd performed at the Bath Pavilion
on April 10th 1967, when these autographs were obtained....Syd not only signed in his full name, which was and is extremely rare as it is, he also inscribed the words ‘Pink Floyd’, which all the Pink Floyd collectors I consulted with have never seen before....Pink Floyd was Syd’s band, he was their founder and leader and if it
wasn’t for him Pink Floyd would of never existed....This is an incredible piece of Pink Floyd history!
This autograph book also contains a beautiful set of Who signatures, The Who played the Bath Pavilion on April the 24th 1967 and are actually on the same very collectible Bath concerts handbill and would be worth
seeking out to add with this autograph book.
This amazing autograph book also includes signatures of  the Yardbirds, The Animals, Them (Van Morrison), Little Richard, Gene Vincent, The
Moody Blues, The Searchers, Peter Frampton when he was in The Herd
and so many more....See list below.
Comes with an unsigned letter of provenance from the person who originally obtained the autographs which reads in part:
"I worked for the Bath city council spa department from 1962 onwards which covered the pump room. The
Guildhall. The Assembly Rooms. And Pavilion and Sport Centre. At the Pavilion in Bath every Monday Fred
Bannister the promoter came down from London to run the Teen Beat dances as they were called with all the big sixties groups ie Little Richard, etc. I worked in the men’s cloakrooms so when at the end of the show I went backstage to Sid [sic] Barrett and other artists from Pink Floyd to get their their autographs.
The autograph book itself is in fine condition, with the exception of the spine, the binding has wore away, but
all the pages most are loose and are fine condition, as you can see in the photos. The autograph book pages measure 4 1/2” X 4”.
This comes with a COA from Floyd Authentic for the Pink Floyd autographs and will come with a COA from PSA/DNA for The Who signatures.
