This card was purchased in Brussels, Belgium by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this vintage postcard is the portrait of a delightful Smooth Jack Russell Terrier, two Welsh Terriers and a little girl. The child is crying.  The Welshies are eating her lunch.  The Jack Russell is trying to comfort the child.   The scene is timeless.     Below the portrait is a caption in French.   Translated to English the caption says:  "Between the cup and the lips...."  On the back is a handwritten address in Brussels, Belgium.  There is a stamp and a faded postmark.   This card was originally made in Belgium circa 1910.
Measurements are approximately: 3.25" x 5.5".   Aside from some signs of surface wear, this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
