    Description

    Mac Pro 5,1 2012 Xeon W3680 6-Core 24GB ECC RAM 1TB NVMe Thunderbolt, Blu-ray, USB 3.1, Wifi AC, Bluetooth
This item is a custom configuration of the Mac Pro 2012 (A1289 2629). It is used and in good operating order. Please see photos for cosmetic condition.
    Installed:
    Mojave (10.14.6)
    BIOS: 144.0.0.0.0
One Xeon W3680 @3.33GHz (6 Core, one CPU tray)
24GB RAM (three OWC EEC 8GB modules)
One ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB SSD Drive (1,618 MB/s, good for PCIe 2.0)
One Nvidia GeForce GT640 1 GB-One HDMI, one DVI and one DisplayPort output. Only the HDMI port is working. MacVids BIOS. (screenshots are accurate, but for the video card, which is included as an extra-switched out for the Nvidia GeForce GT640)
    LG WH16NS40 Blu-Ray R/W in Superdrive bay
Second DVD bay contains a OWC multi-mount configured for a 3.5” hard drive
4-3.5 inch drive sleds (empty)(drive bay 1 has an OWC 3.5" to 2.5" SSD adapter)
One modified for Mac Thunderbolt 3 card (Titan Ridge)
One Caldigit USB 3.1 card (2-3.1 ports)
New(er) WIFI Card (AC) (Retained original bluetooth) 2.5 and 5GHz both supported.
    Extras:
Empty Dual PCIe m.2 card, one NVMe slot, one SATA m.2 slot (tested, works)
AMD Radeon RX560 (2GB) (unmodified, DVI untested, HDMI doesn’t work, Displayport works 4K,
but with some random momentary "blanking" on occasion)
Highpoint Rocket Raid 640L (4 port SATA III) (untested)
Apple A1310 (Nvidia Gforce GT 120) (Useful for clean installs when you need to see the boot screen, distorted. Works with Mojave once installed, does not work for Mojave install)
    ------------------------
The addition of NVMe support in BIOS really brought these desktops back from the dead.
It is very responsive and feels like a modern computer once again. The Thunderbolt 3 card, USB 3.1 card and Blu-ray R/W are nice upgrades as well.
Given the port issues consider video cards living on borrowed time.
At least there are two (both capable of displaying to 4K monitor if one fails)(If using for production, ie, Photoshop, Lightroom or Final Cut Pro use the Radeon Card.  It's useable, but for the occasional video blanking, sometime several times a minute, sometimes not for days.) MSI Radeon RX560 card shown in the photos-I swapped it out for the
Nvidia GeForce GT640 as I was only doing web browsing and email.
It’s impossible to price a Mac Pro for “Buy it Now”.
Prices are all over the place. When that happens, I just put it on eBay as an auction item and let the market decide. I set the initial price at without a reserve. I will not end the auction early or send it to an address not on your account.
These Mac Pro desktops are ideal for those who like to tinker with the hardware (and due to the age and EOL from Apple, software) If this is you I encourage you to place your bid.
If this will be your first Mac computer and you are only attracted by the price, you will be soon over your head-don’t bid.
(Really! this is a return and re-list from the later)
Shipping is always a hassle for Mac Pro’s.
It generally runs from -0. I’m going to make it easy for you.
    I’ll split the shipping.
    I'll pay anything over
    .
It will be packed in a custom made OWC box made for shipping Mac Pro’s.
    No mouse or keyboard included.

    Couldn't revise original description so I need to make a change as an addendum;
Pulled everything a part to itemize listing and saw that the NVMe M.2 SSD was actually a
