JULIUS LA ROSA Signed AUTOGRAPHED ORIGINAL 5x7 1950's PHOTO

Description

An original, vintage 1950’s 5x7 portrait photo hand-signed in black pen by traditional, big band crooner and TV star Julius La Rosa, who worked in both radio and television beginning in the 1950’s. Appeared on both the Arthur Godfrey and Ed Sullivan variety shows and in 1953 hit #1 on the Cash Box chart and #2 on the Billboard chart with his third recording, “Eh, Cumpari” (which was used in “The Godfather: Part III”). His TV appearances included “The Honeymooners”, “What’s My Line?”, “The Pat Boone Chevy Showroom”, “The Polly Bergen Show” and “The Merv Griffin Show” among many others. He starred in the 1958 film “Let’s Rock”. He was frequently on the Jerry Lewis annual Labor Day telethon for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, often hosting the New York outpost of the shows. In the 1980’s he also had a recurring role in the NBC soap opera “Another World”. This is not any type of reproduction or pre-printed signature and comes with our (Hollywood Movie Posters) Certificate of Authenticity (C.O.A.). The original photo itself, that the autograph is on, is in very good/near excellent condition with some border creasing and a few tiny edge tears in the lower left corner area (does not effect the signature in any manner).
