This was a very special - and very expensive - Apple Configure To Order purchase I made to get the very best upgrades to the processor, graphics card, and solid state hard drive that I needed.
This is the fastest computer I've ever owned.
I special ordered this just under 2 years ago to start my business and it's never let me down.
It lived in my climate controlled home office, and was regularly cleaned and carefully air dusted to keep the inside and outside clean.
I've since moved to laptops and external monitors based on the nature of my business, and no longer need this special iMac.
The 64GB RAM upgrade was via official memory modules direct from Crucial.com.
All of the RAM upgrade modules are correct and matching, meaning they're all running at the correct max 2666MHz speed.
If you don't take care match the modules correctly, RAM memory speed drops to 2133MHz. Not good for RAM intensive work like Photoshop, Premier/Video editing, etc.
*Crucial Memory order was for the correct and highest speed 2 x
Crucial 32GB Kits (16GBx2) DDR4 2666 MT/s (PC4-21300). I checked in the settings on this Mac after purchase, and today, to confirm they are still running at the max correct 2666MHz speed.
**Active AppleCare+ through September 25, 2022. "With AppleCare+, you get additional service and support for your Mac, including up to two incidents of accidental damage protection every 12 months, each subject to a service fee, plus applicable tax."
