Handmade and probably from Europe. It is an old carpenters tool and extremely well made. Maybe one of a kind. The total length is 17 5/16" with the shaft being 3/8" in diameter and an attached 8 1/4" long by 1 3/8" diameter wood handle. The circle is adjusted by a 5 9/16" long by 4 3/8" (top to bottom) mechanism which fits into a slot 13/16" by 3 /16" and is in by a 2" by 1/4" diameter tapered pin. Weighs 1 Lb 12.8 Ozs
